OUR STORY

SoBar sits in the middle of Jersey's Esplanade, a modern bar and restaurant that has made itself essential to St Helier's working week. Not by trying too hard. By being exactly what people need at the right time of day. From a proper working lunch to after-work drinks that run longer than planned, from a casual evening meal to a private hire that takes over the whole place — SoBar adapts without losing its character. The open kitchen, the relaxed service, the food that's honest and consistent. That's what keeps people coming back.

A considered wine list, a rotating selection of beers and cocktails poured with real care behind the stick. Wines chosen to work as well with the food as they do on their own, beers that change through the year, and a cocktail list built by people who know the difference between a good drink and a great one. Whether it is a quick catch up at the bar, a celebration with friends, a client drink that turns into dinner, or the first round of a longer night, SoBar knows how to pour it.

From birthday drinks to corporate functions, SoBar has the space, the food and the atmosphere to host it properly. Take over a section of the bar for a few rounds, plan a private dinner with the kitchen pulling out sharing boards and mains for the table, or hand over the whole venue for a night that is entirely yours. Groups of ten or groups of a hundred, we have done both, and we make the planning as easy as the evening. Either way, we will build the night around you and let you get on with enjoying it.

Randalls Spritz Club

The Esplanade clocks off and the bar fills up. Spritz Club lands at exactly the right hour. Two spritzes for £15.95 from the new menu, Monday to Friday between 4 and 7. Hold a stool at the bar, claim a booth, or pull a few colleagues into a corner. The kitchen is on if one round turns into the rest of the night.
